To increase privacy at elections, a curtain mechanism can be attached to both our
polling booths P.204/V1 and P.234/502/V4.
The assembly consists of four extension poles and four flexible PVC rods that are
connected together under tension at the front end. Each rod has a 90º return at
the back end, which clips into the bush at the top of the pole. This bush has two
identical holes to anchor the rod going right and the rod going left.
An important health & safety feature is that the curved poles are prevented from
whiplashing open as they have an elasticated inner cord at the front end. The customer
can specify how high they need the curtain rod to be as this system allows for great
flexibility. In the illustration, the curtain rod is 6’ 6” off the ground which
should cater for most voters, but it can be higher if needed.
The curtain fabric meets all fire safety standards.
