Tamper Evident Seals

How Does it Work? There are two lids per box that are completely detachable from the box.

Ballot papers are posted into a generous postal slot (240mm x 12mm) on one of the half-lids. At close of poll this is secured by means of a hinged shutter. When in use, the lids hinge on the outside edge, and are joined and interlocked tightly in the centre with two special sliding catches.

They are then secured using two pull-up seals that fasten the lids to the bin and one pull-up seal that closes and secures the shutter over the postal slot.
